The 9th Floor Media playlist is always a proud blend of different sounds, cultures, and energies from artists worldwide, emphasizing diversity and collaboration. We challenge you to let this playlist invite you to discover your new faves, experiences, and stories you might’ve overlooked on an average day.
Check out “Palmeras,” a song from Mexican alternative/indie duo CLUBZ (Coco Santos, Orlando Fernández), and “6:45,” a song from Naïka, a Haitian/French dance/electronic artist from Miami. Listen to 9th Floor favorite Sevdaliza’s “Good Torture featuring Palestinian-Chilean singer-songwriter Elyanna. “La Chica-cá” is a song by a Finnish-born artist named Joalin, who sings in Spanish. Get into “Flatlining” by Los Angeles-based band Rilan & The Bombardiers (Rilan Ramhane, Tim William van Ouwerkerk, Olivier de Jon, and Efraim de Nijs Latuheru). “Hi-Fidelity” is a song by British-Jamaican alternative/Indie musician Lava La Rue featuring the bilingual Irish singer/rapper Biig Piig (real name Jessica Smyth). And finally, enjoy “Deira” by Palestinian/French/Algerian artist Saint Levant, featuring Palestinian rapper MC Abdul.
In the mix with these artists, we included two new tracks from Slake Dransky, “Don’t Be So Polite” and “Juliet,” with the latter being a new, dynamic departure from his original sound.
